hello and welcome, my name is bram! i created this website last month but i still had some experience with neocities prior. as of right now, it is 2/9/26 at 15:35. i'll mostly be talking about films and tv on here, and i'll post some of my art soon. the background i am currently using for this site is from "the cranes are flying" which is a war film made in 1957. it has some of the best camerawork and cinematography i have ever seen, and is a brilliant film overall. it was directed by mikhail kalatozov, who also directed the 1964 film "i am cuba" (which i have yet to watch.)
on the right is some taxi driver fanart that i finished this morning. i'm pretty happy with it, but i certainly have a long way to go. i mean, i'm good for a fourteen year old which is what matters to me. i'm very competitive when it comes to art.
another thing i wanted to talk about is a band i discovered earlier called "pitfall". they only have a couple songs out at the minute but i really like them. turns out they're local. they wont come up immediately if you search them on spotify so search up "pitfall obliterate". they really remind me of another artist but i cant quite but my finger on it. another band i just got into recently is geese and they are so good! one of my mutuals made an edit of their song "taxes" to the film trainspotting, which is my favourite film. i love alot of danny boyle's filmography; trainspotting, shallow grave, 28 days later, slumdog millionaire, and yesterday. the only problem is, he made all these fantastic films but has made just as many films that aren't good at all. another director i'm getting into is alan clarke. i've only seen 2 of his films so far, penda's fen, and elephant, but he's great.

21/09/26 i'm sick right now. i forgot to take my inhaler for a few days and now i've had to stay off school. i could hardly sleep and kept waking up. i can hardly ever sleep even when i'm not sick. but this time it's like trying to sleep through a storm! except this storm's in my throat and it hurts like hell. i'm about 20 minutes into almost famous, but i was called to get my lunch. usually i'm the one preparing it, but again, i'm sick. before starting it again i thought i'd write something in here as it's been a month or two i think. after i finish almost famous i think i'll watch the muppet movie. or maybe the muppets. i think at some point i'll upload more of my art to here, but for now i think i'll just stick to talking. i'm currently listening to the score for the virgin suicides, which is one of my uncles favourite films. i enjoyed it too. he's american, i asked him if the film reminded him of his teenage years; the clothes, the houses, the furniture. he said a little, but he doesn't really think about it like that. i've inserted an image of the lisbon sisters on the right. the paint on the bathroom walls reminds me of the bathroom in the shining, which is also painted green and yellow. the file name is "lisbon.png", which is where my other uncle is living with his girlfriend and baby right now. he might've moved to just outside lisbon, though. or maybe closer to the center. i can't remember. i have the virgin suicides on blu ray, it comes with a sleeve. the album is over. i'm now listening to последняя поэма, which translates to "last poem". it is very beautiful. i might change the background image for this site. also, to whoever's reading this, if anyone, do you think i'm a boy or a girl? or something inbetween? or something outside? maybe you haven't thought about it. i'm serious, email me. i'll attach my email to the front page. also, tell me if you know where my site name is from. i'll attach my twitter as well because i know some of you lot probably don't know how to email people. i ought to write here more often. i was thinking of adding a poetry section!
my friends have told me they have a surprise for me tomorrow. i'm so scared! i don't like surprises. also apparently we're having a sex talk first two periods. i don't see why, literally everybody knows about this sort of stuff at my age. it's just embarrasing! also art club is starting after school tomorrow, although there are some people who i absolutely hate that will be going, but they're only there to talk, they have no actual interest in art. here's another question: where do you think i'm from, and why? you can probably already tell that it's not america, although i have some family who are american. please email me or dm me! sure, it's probably not the safest thing to be doing, but i want some online friends. oh, here's another question: who do you think my favourite actor is, and who do you think my favourite actress is? also, what do you think i look like? i've inserted another picture on the right which might give a clue to one of my previous questions about my website name. i don't know how to get the pictures to line up.
